"Dedicated Slender fans! Slenderman once again needs YOUR help! Last time we banded together and helped Faceless skyrocket to the top bunch of Steam Greenlight games! This time, Slenderman wants to branch out into the cinema business. Not for hokey, first-person, Blair Witch style footage. Not for senseless gore or killing. Not for your run of the mill horror movie! No, this time for a feature film, thought-provoking psychological horror movie. Experienced and dedicated Producer Steven Belcher sets the bar high and promises us, dedicated Slendersluts, an experience we won't soon forget. A community effort. So, as a community, let's show him the support only our Slendercles can provide:
I don't know about the rest of you, but this man sounds like he has his heart in the right place for this project. Check out the trailer! At the moment this project is collecting donations over at its Kickstarter Page, where the generous may choose to donate as little as $1 (come on guys, that's less than a cup of coffee) to bringing this project to life. Already an impressive $2, 200 has been raised toward its $250,000 goal. So consider giving generously. Depending on your donation amount, you can also receive little treats of your own: credit in the movie, a Blu-Ray or DVD version of the film, and more! If you can't donate, no problem! Just pass along the love and let people know! Post about it in your journals, help it along in your own communities. If you run one of our brother or sister SlenderGroups, please feel free to directly copy and paste this journal entry and let your own members know!
Straight from the souce:
The most important factor about Slender Man is the mystery... Who, or what, is he? What does he want? Where does he come from? Are there even answers to these questions, or will the pursuit of answers to these questions just raise even greater questions?
This feature film will set out to give this character the treatment it deserves: a truly terrifying and thought provoking horror experience. Also, at it's core, the film will discuss the theme of whether it is worse to be afraid of the dark (the unknown), or to be afraid of the light (truth).
Let's show a little Slenderlove!"

I'm sharing this!
Thanks so much
Any time!
